Role Overview

Our client seeks a VP of Sales to drive account acquisition, lead sales initiatives, & contribute to the company’s expansion. This role provides a rare opportunity to deliver an exceptional & unmatched lighting solution to business markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify appropriate organizations & individuals to bring the company’s offering to market on a large scale
  • Leverage experience with C-Suite executives to assess partners & boost sales
  • Build strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Grow sales among key accounts
  • Target specific sectors such as restaurants & shopping malls
  • Develop new opportunities & secure orders
  • Nurture existing sectors
  • Initiate & secure sales in alignment with business goals
  • Foster communication & establish strong relationships with clients
  • Facilitate sales that apply to several locations for one company
  • Negotiate tailored solutions for each scenario
  • Clearly convey the advantages of partnering with the company
  • Manage the final stages of closing
  • Report key account updates, the status of new leads, & key metrics
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Contribute to team development & performance

Qualifications

  • A degree from an educational institution or substantial relevant industry experience
  • Prior experience in lighting is not essential, but experience in selling similar products or services with some technical knowledge is necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to build robust relationships & networks with key decision-makers
  • Ability to proactively expand connections
  • Industry experience, including with a focus on sales is preferred
  • Experience in both nurturing existing customer relationships & acquiring new business
  • Exceptional written & verbal communications skills
  • Detail oriented & highly self-motivated
  • Strong understanding of key drivers within the targeted sectors
  • Highly effective working independently as well as on a team
