The Role

Our client seeks a Sales Director who has a successful track record of selling Software as a Service (SaaS). The candidate selected for this role will be results-oriented & highly competent at building & maintaining relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Discover & seek out new business to obtain more customers
  • Meet or exceed sales-related goals & key performance indicators
  • Provide product presentations to prospective customers
  • Manage & lead sales communications through to the close of the deal
  • Develop & maintain solid relationships with customers who hold some of the highest positions at their respective companies within the energy industry
  • Work closely with various members & teams across the company – from customer service to marketing
  • Maintain a high level of understanding when it comes to developments & trends within the industry

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience selling software, particularly to companies such as utilities
  • Demonstrable success in selling SaaS products to complex entities
  • Highly skilled in presenting, communicating & negotiating
  • Able to travel one-third of the time
  • Able to work in the United States
