Role Overview
Our client seeks a Project Lead to be a senior leader on its project team in support of its energy transition consultancy work. This role involves a significant amount of customer engagement, project management, as well as management of junior colleagues. The Project Lead will enable the team to produce strategic & data-informed insights to enable both public & private sector customers to achieve their decarbonization goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee a project team of less experienced colleagues
- Help team members develop unique insights & guidance in support of customer goals
- Engage with customers – from assessing challenges to analysis to issue resolution
- Discover strategies based on data-informed insights
- Communicate recommendations to clients through presentations
Qualifications
- Experience at a top energy company, consultancy or other research or data-focused organization
- Degree from a university in relevant field
- Strong understanding of energy markets & related policies
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Highly self-motivated
- Exceptional ability to analyze & synthesize complex information
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in a customer-facing position is preferred
- Master’s degree or other advanced degree is preferred
