The company partners with utilities & other electric customers to reduce costs, provide greater grid reliability & maximize the use of clean energy resources such as solar and wind energy. The company’s founders have several decades of renewable energy experience & are passionate about accelerating the energy transition.

Role Overview

Our client seeks a Head of Asset Management to manage the company’s operating assets in North America. The Head of Asset Management will oversee & grow the number of energy storage assets developed, originated & owned by the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Close new operations & maintenance (O&M) deals
  • Oversee & collaborate with project stakeholders
  • Track project performance & KPIs
  • Create & submit budgets & operations plans for facilities
  • Collaborate with management on any needed plan changes
  • Properly maintain project documentation
  • Provide representation for projects in dealings with various stakeholders – from government officials to engineers
  • Coordinate with accountant on billing & payment procedures, & financial reports
  • Quickly respond to emergencies & system failures
  • Work cohesively with engineering & analytics teams on reports

Qualifications

  • Experience in asset management, preferably in energy storage operations & maintenance
  • NABCEP certification, experience in the field, & an understanding of key energy storage technologies strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a technical background
  • Strong communications skills
  • Exceptional project management & organizational skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft suite of products
  • Ability to travel up to half of the time
  • Highly self-driven
