They have over 10 GW of solar power & energy storage projects that they are actively developing in an effort to accelerate the energy transition.
Role Overview
Our client seeks a Manager, Capital Markets to support with the execution of financings for the company. The Manager will work on a variety of transactions, ranging from project finance debt to tax equity. They will support with financial modeling & analyses & due diligence. The successful candidate will be highly self-driven & a motivated problem solver.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Determine opportunities for financing solar & energy storage assets
- Negotiate terms & legal contracts related to tax equity & debt financings
- Handle financial modeling & analytical work
- Lead due diligence processes
- Resolve challenges to ensure the execution of financial closings
- Develop & maintain strong relationships internally & externally
- Work cohesively with management to support fundings
- Collaborate with teams throughout the organization
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant field
- MBA or CFA is preferable
- Renewable energy experience required
- Clean energy development knowledge
- Renewable energy project finance & transaction experience, ideally at a development, banking or consulting firm
- Excellent financial modeling capabilities
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Experience executing tax equity transactions
- Project finance experience
- Highly motivated to mitigate climate change
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong understanding of clean energy technologies, markets & finance strategies
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with a couple of days in office
- Ability to travel for up to one-quarter of the time
