Role Overview

Our client seeks a Director of Project Development to help the company meet its project development goals. The successful candidate will be able to provide key contributions to company strategy & project implementation as well as work cohesively with internal & external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Spearhead energy storage project development
  • Lead efforts to select project locations & support with due diligence
  • Create strategic plans to meet company goals
  • Manage due diligence & other initiatives related to acquisitions
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders
  • Oversee departmental finances & staff
  • Manage project schedules


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Energy project development experience, ideally within energy storage
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively & efficiently
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence & ability to work well with a variety of staff
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Self-driven, adaptable & motivated to succeed
  • Experienced in project management
