Role Overview
This position plays an integral role within the company, helping to originate, evaluate, and execute capital deployment across a diverse range of sustainable infrastructure assets. The role focuses on transactions involving technologies such as solar, energy storage, electric vehicle charging, and clean fuels. It offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company’s climate-focused portfolio through hands-on deal work and active investment management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of complex financial transactions, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth deal flow
- Evaluate and interpret detailed financial models to support investment decisions and assess transaction viability
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence across financial, legal, and operational areas to identify risks and ensure project integrity
- Review and reconcile key financial documents and data sets to prepare accurate materials for transaction closing
- Contribute to the ongoing management and performance tracking of portfolio assets, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information with precision and a high degree of accuracy
- Expertise in building advanced spreadsheet tools for financial analysis, scenario planning, and large-scale data evaluation
- Track record of constructing and maintaining intricate financial models used to inform strategic investment decisions
- Understanding of structured finance transactions in the renewable energy space, including deal structures and documentation requirements
- Collaborative and adaptable team player who excels in dynamic, growth-oriented work environments
- Completion of an undergraduate program at an accredited four-year college or university
- Additional academic or professional credentials such as an MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst designation strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience in financial roles related to clean energy markets or sustainable infrastructure
- Prior involvement in structuring and closing transactions involving tax equity, project-level financing, or institutional capital investment
