Role Overview

The company is looking for a Project Finance Analyst eager to launch a career in the renewable energy industry. This position involves creating and managing detailed financial models and analyses that support the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and completion of equity, tax equity, and debt financings for the company’s portfolio of community and distributed solar, solar-plus-storage, and standalone battery storage projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and update advanced financial models such as partnership flip, joint venture, and lease pass-through structures
  • Oversee the execution and financial close of multiple transactions across different stages of project development
  • Collaborate with investors to advance financing for solar and energy storage portfolios, including construction and development debt, joint venture equity, and tax equity arrangements
  • Work closely with internal teams in origination, development, operations, construction, and legal to refine assumptions, align on financing requirements, and integrate them into company workflows
  • Participate in meetings and industry events with clients and partners as needed
  • Provide support to senior team members during the negotiation and closing of financing agreements, including tax equity transactions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of professional experience, ideally within the renewable energy industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, sustainability, energy, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience building financial models highly valued
  • Exceptional organizational and project coordination abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Proven capacity to handle several projects simultaneously while meeting tight timelines
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to convey financial and development insights to leadership, sales, and cross-functional teams
  • Flexible mindset with a readiness to adjust priorities or processes as conditions or company strategy evolve
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
  • Genuine passion for clean energy and a long-term commitment to advancing a career in the renewable energy sector
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • Ability to work three days a week in the office
