We are seeking a driven professional with a strong background in relationship-building and complex transactions. The successful candidate will be skilled at sourcing opportunities, developing corporate relationships, and guiding organizations through transferable tax credit deals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify corporate participants for clean-energy credit transfers under the IRA across public and private companies
- Build an account-based funnel with persona-specific sequences; keep stages, next steps, and probabilities current in CRM
- Map buying groups across tax, treasury, controllership, finance, and executive sponsors and multi-thread relationships
- Own the client journey from first conversation through diligence, term sheet, approvals, and close
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with legal, technical diligence, and capital-markets teammates to remove blockers and hit timelines
- Translate pricing scenarios and analytics into clear recommendations; contribute to models and term sheets as needed
- Represent the Renewable Energy team at select events; craft decks, one-pagers, and campaigns tied to corporate ESG and cash-tax planning
- Maintain accurate dashboards and weekly reporting on pipeline health, conversion, and revenue outlook
- Participate in adjacent origination and capital-markets initiatives across the practice when useful
Qualifications
- Solid track record in origination or enterprise sales within capital markets, structured or project finance, or advisory, with renewables or corporate-tax exposure preferred
- Working knowledge of the credit-transfer landscape created by the Inflation Reduction Act and how corporates evaluate buy-side participation
- Demonstrated ability to win trust with senior stakeholders and navigate multi-sponsor decisions
- History of executing complex, multi-party deals from sourcing to close
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship skills
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving with strong ownership
- Fluency with CRM and analytics tools for outreach, forecasting, and reporting
- Helpful backgrounds include advisory, investment banking, private equity, or institutional capital raising
- Advanced credentials such as MBA, JD, CPA, or CFA are a plus, but not required
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
