Dylan Green Doubles Diverse Placements from Other Industries

Six months after making the commitment to increase net, or total, diversity in clean energy, Dylan Green has doubled the amount of diverse candidates it has sourced from other industries and placed in clean energy. According to Canary Media Inc., 99% of people who will be working in climate by 2030 haven’t begun yet, as it is essential that we build a diverse and equitable clean energy workforce as the clean energy and sustainability industry continues to grow. So far, the diverse candidates from other industries Dylan Green has placed have a wide range of highly transferable backgrounds in much more developed industries, including legal, public policy, business development, finance, lending and operations.

Of course, greater net diversity in clean energy cannot be achieved by Dylan Green on its own, as it can only be achieved if clean energy employers choose to pursue, hire and retain top-tier, diverse candidates. Some of the forward-thinking organizations Dylan Green has worked with to help increase net diversity in clean energy over the past few years include: Lightsource bp, Siemens, Javelin Capital, Leyline Renewable Capital, LLC, The AES Corporation, DC Green Bank, Calibrant Energy, Chesapeake Solar & Storage Association, and Coalition for Community Solar Access. If your company is looking to hire highly qualified, diverse talent, please get in touch with Catherine.
