Role Overview
Our client is looking to hire an Analyst to assist with advisory work focused on clean energy and the energy transition across the Americas. This position offers a strong entry point into transaction execution and provides the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals in the sustainable energy and decarbonization space.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Analyst will support transaction teams on advisory mandates related to clean energy and the broader energy transition sector
- Core duties include preparing pitch materials, conducting financial analysis and modeling, supporting due diligence efforts, researching market trends, and assisting with presentations for clients and investors
- In addition to deal execution, the Analyst will help shape the firm’s growth and direction by contributing to strategic planning and participating in research projects related to climate and sustainable finance
- The Analyst will also play a role in sourcing new opportunities, collaborating closely with senior team members to identify and pursue business development initiatives

Qualifications
- A clear passion for clean energy and sustainable finance is essential
- Relevant experience, ideally within renewable energy investing or project finance
- Proficiency in building financial models, crafting presentations, and producing well-written materials
- Backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure finance, or corporate finance within the energy or utilities sectors are ideal
- Advanced skills in Excel, accounting principles, financial analysis, and PowerPoint are necessary
- A self-starting mindset and enthusiasm for working in a lean, high-impact team environment with meaningful client engagement
- A strong appetite for learning, along with motivation to grow professionally within a focused, mission-driven firm
- The role is based in New York City and may involve occasional business travel
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required
