The Vice President will lead the Research & Innovation team. They will develop deep market insight to support investments, help with strategic limited partnerships, and commercialize portfolio companies. They must be a curious, thorough researcher who is skilled in communication and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead market analysis and synthesize research to generate insight that can be easily distributed.
• Develop market landscapes for investable target companies.
• Identify the transformational impact that emerging technology might have on the industry.
• Lead groups of industry experts and leaders from our strategic partner consortium.
• Work hand in hand with partners on building business cases and deployment pathways for transformational technology.
• Present insight, both internally and externally, to clearly communicate the client’s views.
• Develop credibility as a trusted internal advisor on key trends and markets. 
• Collaborate with investment teams to identify deal opportunities and build confidence in investment decisions.
• Share reliable insight about market dynamics and opportunities with the portfolio companies.
• Support portfolio companies by advising on product development roadmaps & go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in market analysis, management consulting, corporate strategy, or other relevant fields.
• Prior experience in the energy or real estate sectors – ideally with some experience focused on building sustainability.
• Excellent analytical skills and capability to assess complex business cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An independent mindset and intellectual curiosity.
• A proven track record of working effectively on a team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
