The Role
Our client seeks a Sustainability Manager who will help address various issues such as health, equity and climate through partnerships with interested and invested stakeholders. The position involves content creation and requires working with both internal and external partners to help manage and govern innovative project plans from their starting phases through to their integration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with senior team members to develop plans for going fossil fuel-free in the next two decades
- Lead the updating of long-term plans meant to inform partners
- Take part in subcommittee groups and help create plans as needed
- Take charge of the planning and preparation of meetings, subgroups and communications
- Leverage strong partnerships across various internal teams
- Manage the organization’s revolving fund
- Make reccomendations to company fund updates
- Track regulations within the city regions being evaluated
- Manage all student interns, consultants and part-time staff
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Experience with project plan development and management
- Ability to show creativity in projects and inspire colleagues
- Experience working with various individuals including project managers and consultants
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to show well-developed knowledge of trends in climate change policy and sustainability trends

- Position may require occasional work outside of traditional working hours
