The Role
Our client seeks a Real Estate Attorney who will work closely with the Project Development Team to manage the company’s real estate portfolio and ensure the success of ongoing development activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all activities related to land management as well as real estate holdings
- Negotiate, review and revise all easements, licenses and land leases
- Manage evaluation of title encumbrances
- Review and oversee closing documents
- Create and manage a program for title evaluations
- Manage the real estate team
- Communicate with landowners and their legal counsel as needed
- Manage the existing estate program
- Interact with various relevant parties such as financial partners and other counsel
- Take part in trade shows, conferences and other business development opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- J.D. degree and experience with real estate or similar area of practice
- Must currently have an active Bar license in state residing in
- Well-developed verbal and written communication
- Previous experience with real estate or renewable energy development
- Passion for energy development and genuine care for the environment
- Ability to solve problems in a creative manner
- Self-starter who can work individually and also be a team player
- Pays close attention to detail
- Can work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to travel minimally for conferences and company retreats
