The Role
Our client seeks a Channel Partner Development Lead to collaborate with a diverse team that is working toward expanding the organization’s business prospects. This requires time spent assessing partners and growing the existing customer base through a combination of relationship building and outreach. The ideal candidate has prior experience in project development or asset management and enjoys working on managing customer relations. Those with experience in finance or investment banking within the energy infrastructure industry would be particularly well suited for this position.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a major related to science, technology, engineering, math, business or finance, in addition to experience in one of these fields
- Solid understanding of Solar Power Purchase Agreements as well as various other areas of energy project finance structures
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sometimes difficult customer relations situations and to nurture long-term business relationships
- Good listener with excellent writing skills
- Some formal training in consultative sales strategies and tactics
- Prior training in negotiations
- Demonstrated capability in working with customers and their decision-makers
- Ability to work within a multifunctional organization
- Ability to work with various internal teams – from underwriting to asset management
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively on several projects and with various stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial spirit as well as comfort being in an ever-changing environment
- Refined sense of integrity with excellent references
- Passion for learning new subject matters, both within assigned fields as well as related ones
